August 2024 Update

There has been tremendous progress in the development of the Salaam Centre in the last few months. The building is quite literally taking shape making an impact on the North Harrow skyline.

As we enter the closing weeks of August 2024 you will have seen the conclusion of the Krion façade cladding installation in previous months and shortly thereafter the final printed glazed curtain wall panels are now also coming to completion.

Over the last 5 months the intricate cladding install has been progressing and we finally get to appreciate the design concept become a reality, that both the construction team and community can all be proud of.

In parallel to the façade installations, the design team have been working hard on adapting and finalising the proposed external works design and its inherent security measures in liaison with local authority planning authority and Secure by Design officers.

Thinking ahead upon future phases, the client’s team have been actively engaging in design workshops with services engineers SIS-MEP to kick start the detailed design options for mechanical and electrical installations for forthcoming internal fit out phases.

Phase 2 Fundraising

Keep on Giving

We have come this far thanks to your generous support - we are now at the tail end of Phase 2, costing £6 million. We have raised over £5.9 million. InshAllah, as we proceed to having the building watertight, we will proceed to Phase 3 - the internal works.

The first part of phase 3 will likely be £3m-4m. From the date of signing the contract, we could move into the centre within 12 months!!

So please help us with donations to sign the contract - and let's move into The Salaam Centre soon!

Please donate generously and find out how you can support.

Drone Footage
With the building looking almost complete from the outside, we thought that it was an ideal time to have a look at the centre from up high! These amazing photos were taken by a drone in August 2024. What spectacular imagery this gives!
